Metal spinning Here is how I would describe Metal Spinning... There is not any other cheaper process  to produce circular hollow   parts made of a disc of sheet metal in small quantity than metal spinning can offer ! With a simple lathe and a mandrel made to the shape of the inside of the part to be produced a skillful metal spinner can make parts quickly and uniformly. Most any metal has been spun; aluminum , brass ,copper and steel are   the popular ones in our shop  up to 40 " diam .
